What is the difference between 1Zpresso J and Q?
The Q2 and JX grinders are versatile and designed to accommodate a range of brewing methods including pour-over, Aeropress, Siphon, Moka-pot, drip coffee, and French press. Though the burr designs differ between the two models, both utilize the same internal adjustment setup, featuring 30 clicks per rotation, three clicks per number, and a 25-micron adjustment for each click.
In terms of capacity, the Q2 grinder has a Classic catch-cup design that holds 15 to 20 grams of coffee, while the JX grinder can contain 30 to 35 grams. The Q2 model is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, given its lightweight design suitable for activities like camping. On the other hand, the JX grinder yields fewer fine particles than its Q2 counterpart.
Both the Q2 and JX models are compatible with either the Cylinder or Travel case, and each weighs less than a kilogram, making them excellent travel companions for coffee lovers on the go.
