1 cup of water
2 tablespoons of ground coffee
2 tablespoons of your favorite flavored syrup (such as vanilla, caramel, or hazelnut)
- Boil the water and let it cool for a minute or two to reach the ideal temperature of around 200°F (93°C).
- Add the ground coffee to the French Press.
- Pour the hot water over the coffee grounds in the French Press and stir gently.
- Let the coffee steep for 4-5 minutes.
- While the coffee is steeping, whip the cream in a separate bowl until soft peaks form.
- Add the flavored syrup to the bottom of a mug or glass.
- Once the coffee has steeped, press the plunger down slowly to separate the coffee grounds from the liquid.
- Pour the coffee into the mug or glass with the flavored syrup.
- Spoon the whipped cream on top of the coffee.
Optional: drizzle with additional syrup or sprinkle with cinnamon for added flavor.
Serve immediately and enjoy your delicious coffee with syrup and whipped cream.
