How do I care for my KeepCup?
To allow steam to escape, it is advised that you wait 30 seconds after pouring boiling water before covering the container.
Keep the plug in the open position for all hot beverages that are over 65°C/149°F to prevent the buildup of steam.
A breather hole in the press-fit lid allows for continuous steam and pressure buildup to be released, allowing for the best liquid flow while drinking. It is not completely sealed but is splashproof. We advise against carrying the cup in your bag when it contains liquid for this reason.
When not in use, the plug should be in the closed position, covering the drinking hole.

Can I use my KeepCup or Bottle with all different types of beverages?
Yes! You can hydrate, drink coffee, and do everything in between with KeepCup products.
You can use your KeepCup or Bottle for fizzy or sparkling drinks, but be careful not to overfill them because they will naturally expand and produce gas, which can lead to pressure buildup when they are fully sealed for an extended length of time or are moved around. Carefully and carefully open the cap while securely gripping it to prevent it from "popping" as the gas is released.

INTERIOR STAINS OR SMELLS
Lemon soaking:
- Cut up a lemon and place the slices into your cup or bottle, then fill with boiling water and leave overnight to soak
- In the morning, rinse and then clean with a mild detergent and warm water using a cloth
- Wash your cup, bottle or silicone gaskets with a mild detergent and warm water using a cloth
- Pour 1/4 cup of baking soda into the cup, along with your silicone gaskets, and slowly fill it with white distilled vinegar to about halfway
- Add hot water and fill to the top of the cup
- Let the mix rest for 15 minutes before rinsing out
Baking soda:
- Create a thick paste of bicarb soda and lemon juice, covering the affected area completely
- Sit the cup on a dish in sunlight for 24 hours to dry out
- An old toothbrush can be used to scrub your silicone gaskets, otherwise rinse and wash thoroughly by hand
- Dissolve a Finish dishwashing tablet in boiling water in a bowl
- Pop the affected component in and soak overnight
- Rinse and wash thoroughly by hand with warm soapy water.
If your glass cup or cork band is damaged within 30 days of purchase, we will replace under our accidental breakage warranty. Please contact our customer service team with the following:
